Mayu Hasuda (蓮田 真由, Hasuda Mayu) is a minor character in Battle Royale II: Requiem.
Backstory[]
Mayu is a gymnast and a tennis player. She's one of the class representatives. She is very healthy, athletic and bright, and transferred to Shikanotoride after her parents got divorced.
Friends and Enemies[]
She is friends with Risa Shindo and mutual friends with Honami Totsuka. Yosuke Miyadai owed her a favor but's it's unknown if their relationship went beyond that.

During the Program[]
Mayu ultimately survived the program and all subsequent attacks, escaping through a tunnel with four other remaining BR students and some of the younger Wild Seven members. The students and children head to Afghanistan where they live for three months while waiting for Takuma Aoi and Shuya Nanahara. When they do reunite, Mayu is overjoyed. The student choose not to join Wild Seven and Mayu stays in Afghanistan, presumably for the rest of her life.

- The name Mayu means "real, genuine" (真) (ma), and "wherefore, a reason" (由) (yu)
- Mayu's surname Hasuda means "lotus" (蓮) (hasu), and "field, rice paddy" (田)
